In a world that rarely allows for true relaxation, these bodywork sessions relearn our bodies what it means to come back to rest. They create the conditions for our body to safely feel what is present, to release build up tension in our body, and to feel connected again to our essence within the fullness of life.

In my sessions, I offer a space for grounding and regulation, emotional and physical release, and deep relaxation.
 

By following and tuning in with the body and the breath, I guide you into a state of safety and inner exploration. ​Lying on a soft and warm mattress, you’ll be guided through various healing breathwork and nervous system-regulating techniques, as well as touch, pressure points, and rocking movements using my sarongs – a highly beneficial technique to let go of tension in the head and neck, hips and legs. We bring the body back into presence, releasing emotional layers that were difficult to access before, and find a state of true relaxation where stress responses can soften and the body can shift back to its natural state of regeneration and repair.

 

This work is about creating the conditions for the body to feel safe enough to release, restore, and reawaken its self-healing capacity.
I find it important that these sessions are not just about ‘fixing,’ but about relearning you and your body how to come back to rest and alignment within the fullness of life. 

Options and prices: 

At the beginning of each session we take the time to check in on your physical and emotional well-being, and tune in with what’s alive for you in that moment. After the session, we make sure to ground you back gently to continue the rest of your day. I recommend not to plan any activities in busy places afterward. ​These sessions are hosted at my at home studio at the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam and always include fresh herbal teas.

Flora allowed me to experience 'space', both mentally and physically. During the session, something opened up inside me and before I knew it, the world could flow in and my worries flowed away. I could say something deep inside me has been reassured: a reminder of the simple, profound truth of our being.

Flora's treatment felt like a symphony of breath, music, scent, touch, and being held — all intuitively attuned to me and forming such an integrated whole.

a reconnecting and deeply relaxing morning or afternoon for your team

​Sometimes we 'just' need a time to relax to connect back to ourselves and each other. 

This work is a beautiful way for groups to ground, to come back to a sense of unity, to reconnect and deeply relax the body and mind - whether it is with a group of colleagues, co-workers or family members. These group sessions will take place at the beautiful and light location of Alternettle at the central Nieuwe Looiersstraat in Amsterdam. 

Prices start from €260  depending on group size, duration, and optional additional elements.
Optional additional elements to create a meaningful morning or afternoon: authentic relating practices, lunch, or organic and grounding snackplates. 

For groups bigger than 5 people I will be working with other professional breathwork guides to make sure there's enough hands to support your experience.

about me

Are you tired, or are you out of rhythm?

How can we move and support the body, and use our breaths, to peel off layers of tension and stuck emotions that take up our space? Where do we ‘arrive’, if we enter deeper layers of relaxation? Real relaxation is rare, mysterious, magical, healing, liberating, and quite difficult for most of us. That’s why I love to put this work into practice.

 

My sessions are a combination of many breathwork and nervous-system regulating techniques and tools that evolve over the years to bring the mind back to presence, release build up tension in the body, and to deeply relax the overall system. From a holistic perspective I believe in the importance of aligning our bodily rhythms to the rhythms of the natural world to prevent and heal illness. This is about adjusting our pace and acknowledging that we can't expect ourselves to be the same every day of the year. 

 

My main interests around holistic health that deepen this work:
